It's been some time since of the last publication of DJ White Shadow releases. He has mentioned in an interview for the 'Return Of The Product" that his previous release "Nightmare Concert", will be probably the last album, kept in the convention of producer plus Various Artists. I had some mixed feelings about it, on the one hand, I felt a little hungry that something just ends, but on the other, something told me that the producer and DJ from Norway didn't said his last word. And boom!, May 2014 and we have 2 full-lenght albums titled "Destroyer 1 & 2". I was really happy when I get the information that all these productions will be available also as hard-copy. Probably it will be a treat not only for the fans of White Shadow, but also collectors who cheers cd's above all.

But to the point, for each of the two publications, we will find the 10 positions, which in total gives us a 20 raw productions featuring such an artists as KRS - One, Big Daddy Kane, Masta Ace and Kool G Rap and other hip-hop heads, which we have heard on previous discs, as Mark Deez, Bigg Limn, Dr . Ill, Capital X or Bobby Brewski, all of them contributed to the album .

Productions on " Destroyer 1 & 2 " is somewhat different from those to which White Shadow had us accustomed on previous releases. If anyone listened to them knows, that the climate fluctuated around darkness , mystery and horror, here you can also find several tracks that are kept in such a convention, but most of them are bursting, hearing beats, based on the fat drums, that could cheer 300 spartans to the battle. If I need to mention tracks that particularly appealed to me, will be probably the title track " Destroyer ", " Brooklyn " featuring Big Daddy Kane , " Major Game" and " Words That Kill" from the first part and " War of the words", "Sick Force" and "No Mercy" from the part 2 . Dj and producer from Norway once again gave us a solid portion of rap , which I'll definitely come back again and again. So, dear listener if you had not the opportunity to purchase the disc yet, I'll invite you to check the ITunes or Amazon page, and collectors refer to Kunaki for buying the hard-copy. Nightmare Concert (Review) (2013)

During the last 2-3 years, a large number of fresh-men and new hype has emerged , which, I don't fully understand what the hype is about. More often than not I have the impression that everything is done half-ass, and that every new discovery is a copy of the previous one. Fortunately, there are still people who consistently keep it on a high level, and today I've decided to have a closer look at the new album from such a person.

White Shadow is without a doubt a man and institution over the years who's consistently improving his craft without rushing it. He has released six long-play Hiphop albums, and he also has a rich legacy that we can find out about by checking his discography.

White Shadow is the type of man who serves us production at a high level every year , featuring living legends, as well as young cats. This year the true turntablist and Dj from Norway gave us his seventh full length album. It's also his final production in that style. Nightmare Concert is the title and it contains 11 solid tracks featuring legends like Sean Price, Rakim, M.o.p., Kool G Rap and Talib Kweli. and also lesser known MC's such as Danegurous, Mark Deez, Absolut Karnage, who in my opinion did great verses.

Nightmare Concert is an album that is the pure essence of hip hop, containing everything that todays' scene is missing both musically and lyrically . NC is also without a doubt yet another proof that you can do your own thing regardless of trends and consistently improving, every time at a higher level than the previous.

Without a doubt, Nightmare Concert is another atmospheric production that will last for a long time. The Album serves us a climate of mystery and horror, moving the listener to completely different places, sometimes listening to this production I felt as if I went to a movie, which I must admit was a good one.

I recommend this album to all those who have not yet had the chance to listen to a White Shadow album. I assure you that you will not be disappointed.
